From New Zealand to the United States: How EEK Mechanical Became a Delaware-Registered Trade Name
EEK Mechanical began as a New Zealand vehicle recovery platform in January 2026, expanded internationally through a UK entity, and is now formally registered as a trade name under Forman Pacific, LLC in the State of Delaware. This is the story of that shift.
Where It Started
EEK Mechanical launched in New Zealand in January 2026 as a specialist vehicle fluid recovery platform — wrong fuel, water-in-oil, and contaminated fuel systems. New Zealand was the proving ground: a well-defined market, a manageable network of independent workshops, and a regulatory environment (the NZIFDA certification scheme) that created a clear compliance anchor for the service.
The underlying business was not new. Forman Pacific had been building operating platforms since 2002 — construction automation, accounting workflows, transport fuel claims, roadside and emergency coordination. EEK Mechanical was the result of applying two decades of platform-building to a specific problem: a fragmented, underdocumented vehicle recovery market with no national operator running it at scale.
The NZ platform went live as a fully AI-operated service. No human call centre. Every inbound call answered by a purpose-built AI voice agent. Every job, payment, insurance report, and compliance filing handled end-to-end by a system built in 132 days by a single operator using Cursor, an AI-native development environment.
The UK Chapter
In August 2025 — before the NZ launch — EEK Mechanical Ltd was incorporated in England (Companies House number 16656512, registered at 71–75 Shelton Street, London). The UK entity was part of a parallel expansion plan: establish EEK in the UK market while the NZ platform was being finalised.
The UK entity was dissolved in July 2026. The reason was structural rather than operational: maintaining separate limited companies in multiple jurisdictions added complexity without corresponding benefit, particularly when the parent legal entity — Forman Pacific, LLC — already provided a single, consolidated legal structure across all three markets through the US Delaware framework.
UK operations continue under eekmechanical.co.uk, now operating under the same Forman Pacific, LLC umbrella as the NZ and US platforms.
The Delaware Registration
On 10 September 2026, Forman Pacific, LLC formally registered EEK Mechanical as a trade name in the State of Delaware — the jurisdiction where the LLC is incorporated — through the Delaware Division of Revenue's One Stop portal.

The three platforms share the same operational core but serve their own markets:

EEK Mechanical is one of several operating platforms in the Forman Pacific portfolio. The Delaware DBA registration marks a formal alignment of the EEK brand with the group's US legal structure — a step that had been planned since the UK entity was incorporated and dissolved as part of the same consolidation process.
