Documented Procedure, Not Workshop Habit

Misfuel remediation follows Policies §19.2 — a ten-step sequence:

  1. Accept via portal (OEM Spec + EEK Procedure Standard (EPS) + Supplier Terms)
  2. Arrange collection / tow per OEM and EEK rules
  3. Workshop intake — customer not on site during work
  4. Assess contamination and engine-start status; record in portal
  5. Extract fuel via OEM-approved access — never pump/probe/siphon through filler
  6. Clean and inspect lines, filters, pump
  7. Reinstall to OEM torque and seal standards
  8. Fresh fuel flush and function test
  9. Licensed disposal with dockets retained seven years
  10. Invoice in portal; release only after EEK confirms payment

§19.3–19.5 define parallel procedures for water-in-oil, pre-export drain, and vessel work.
