The Card Processing Fee Is Disclosed on Every Invoice
EEK made the Stripe card processing fee a named, visible line on every invoice. Customers see the exact fee before they pay. No hidden charges.
Every Cent, Explained
Card processing fees are a real cost of accepting online payments. Many businesses absorb them silently or add them to prices opaquely. EEK chose a different approach: the Stripe processing fee is a separately named line on every invoice, with the exact amount calculated and displayed before the customer confirms payment.
Customers can see exactly what they are paying for the convenience of paying by card. If they have questions about the fee, it is right there on the invoice to reference. There is no surprised feeling when a bank statement shows a slightly different number — the fee is disclosed upfront.
Consistent with EEK's Pricing Philosophy
EEK publishes its full rate card publicly at eek.nz/rate-card. The card processing fee disclosure is part of the same commitment: no customer should ever be surprised by what they owe. Transparency is not a marketing position at EEK — it is a design requirement built into every invoice and payment flow.
