Misfuel recoveries in Dargaville

1 misfuel recovery story in Dargaville

Toyota HiLux SR5

Dargaville Service Station, Northern ...

Sorted

Craig's HiLux is part of a small earthworks fleet and the casual labourer who filled it up used the wrong pump — putting 50 litres of petrol into a diesel tank. The mistake wasn't noticed until the truck started misfiring on the job site a few kilometres away. EEK dispatched a tow truck to collect the HiLux from the worksite and brought it to the workshop for a full fuel system service. The truck was back in service the following morning.
