The Terms of Service: One Source. Two Formats. Always Consistent.

EEK's Terms of Service now generates both the web page and the PDF from a single data source. A change to the terms updates every format simultaneously. No PDF/web divergence.

The Same Terms, Everywhere, Always

EEK's Terms of Service appears in two places: the /terms web page that customers can read online, and the PDF version that is attached to invoices and shared with insurers. Previously, these were maintained separately — meaning a change to one required a manual update to the other, with the risk of divergence.

EEK migrated the Terms to a single data source — a structured TypeScript file that both the web page renderer and the PDF generator read from. A change to the terms takes effect simultaneously across the web page and all generated PDF versions. There is no version where the web page says one thing and the invoice PDF says another.

For Customers and Insurers

When a customer reads the Terms at eek.nz/terms and an insurer reads the Terms PDF attached to an invoice, they are reading the same document — current, complete, and identically formatted. For dispute contexts, this consistency matters: there is no argument about which version of the Terms applies, because there is only ever one version.
