EEK Mechanical Water in Oil Pricing

EEK Mechanical's water in oil and oil contamination recovery service uses the same fee structure as our misfuel recovery service. This reflects the same underlying cost structure: call-out, labour, certified disposal, and materials.

What You Pay

Our pricing is transparent and published on our rate card at eek.nz/rate-card. The main components are: a call-out and assessment fee; an oil disposal fee covering certified hazardous waste disposal (per litre drained); a flush agent and materials cost; a fresh oil and filter supply (or customer-supplied oil); and the Platform, Compliance & Coordination fee covering NZIFDA filing and compliance.

Why 2026 Costs Are Higher

The same global supply chain disruptions that affected misfuel recovery pricing in 2026 affect oil contamination recovery. Disposal contractor rates, vehicle operating costs, and materials have all increased. Full details of the 2026 pricing update are available at eek.nz/price-increase.

Insurance Cover

In many cases, the EEK Mechanical recovery cost is covered by your vehicle insurer under a flood damage or mechanical failure claim. Our report includes the invoice in a format suitable for direct submission to your insurer. In insurer-approved claims, you typically pay your excess only.
